Just curious how many sellers will do this, I can not afford to do it. I will have to pay the return shipping, and make no profit on the sale. That's a bad business plan for me. Also, how much business do you think we will lose for not offering it? Will we be so buried we won't see the light of day?

Buyer meant to pay for return shipping, as my listings say (outdated tos as we all know but some still believe it) but checked "does not work" which of course means "defective." She simply meant it didn't work with her sewing machine and it was her mistake.
Of course, that's what they all say, between these honest mistakes and the vidiots running off to youtube and finding some of the most inconclusive "testing" methods and then shooting back my way with "but I'm an engineer with over 60 years experience and I tested your item with my ohm meter and because the readings say it is defective..."
Some of these buyers I honestly believe never even plugged the item in.
Others, I honestly believe never realized the machine needs gasoline to run and the spare part would "work" if they actually started the machine.
I could go on...
As things stand I put my first "frequent returns" item up with a 20% restocking fee.
Oh it hurt sales, but way I see things I will let these buyers who enjoy returning my stuff go hound some other sellers for a bit and see how things go.
