How long does a feedback removal take to get reviewed?

I submitted a request over a week ago yet it still says pending.

It has said this for over a week:

"We're reviewing this and will get back to you within 24 hrs by both email, and updating this status."

Which it has been over 24 hours, it still says pending, and I haven't been contacted.

Is this normal?

I think it randomizes a timer for the form denial it sends.

I had a neutral feedback. 

It was remocdd but bexause I contacted ebay through the facebook messenger. 

they replied at 2am MST and reviewed it and removed it. 

it was a way better experience than calling because the person had the ability to remove it. 

literally took 5 mins to solve

I submitted a removal request over a month ago. I understand this was during the holiday season, but after reading about these prompt resolutions with no response to my request I'm concerned. Is there a follow up process?
