How long do you wait for buyer reply before shipping item.
How long do you wait for buyer to reply before shipping item? I realized I had not uploaded photos of the wear and tear inside shoe. I contacted buyer to let him know and attached the photos in the message. However, I did describe them as having wear & tear in the description of listing though. He hasn't responded. Should I ship anyways?

You can add photos to messages, but I would not wait past your shipping window.

The time to point out flaws and add pictures is BEFORE it sells. You address all of that when you create the listing. If the buyer purchased, you must ship within your shipping window. If you didn't describe the flaws, the seller can open a case of item not as described.

Shipping it like that without the knowledge or approval of the buyer, you're just asking for trouble.
You may want to consider cancelling the sale. Reason: Item damaged.
Apologize to the buyer and explain what happened.
Tell him you will be re-listing the item, this time showing the wear, and he is welcome to bid/buy it again.

You must ship within your stated handling time. There's no reason to expect a reply; many buyers are not on Ebay often & it's quite likely they won't even see your note to them. That's why it's imperative to have all your info in the listing.

I personally wouldn't cancel the sale for damaged product.
I'd ship and probably let him keep for free. But that's me.
