How is it possible to have 54 pairs of jeans with not 1 view in a week? Can you say shadow ban?

Something is going on. Why do we have to pay to have our things for sale on ebay but ebay will not allow anyone to see them? Should I go strictly with Poshmark and Mercari. They seem to be a lot more up to date with the selling thing.

And I forgot to mention I have promoted listings of 17 percent. 17 percent extra and still 0 views in a week. Nice

Clothing is VERY over saturated on eBay.  Many buyer will use the search by lowest price first option when looking.  Have you compared your prices to others listed?  Try a search of your items and select by lowest price first.  Unless your prices are in line with others your items could end up pages back and never get viewed.

Probably a very saturated category -- there are over 1,000,000 pairs of women's jeans listed currently.

@nimsse0

Good morning 🌞

Your shop is very nice and you have some nice items as well.  However those items are in one of the most oversaturated categories on Ebay.  Clothing, shoes, etc.  I also sell in a very saturated category...jewelry.  You're competing with millions of other sellers who sell the same things.

I personally don't use PL's and I get views all the time.  They seem to work for some but perhaps not all, those are my thoughts anyway.   The only thing I can suggest is to stay competitive with your prices.  Your Franco Sarto boots are selling for about $20 less from other sellers.  Again, just a suggestion. Hang in there.

Have a great weekend and Happy Selling!

Out of total curiosity, are your shorts and summer clothing items selling better? I think perhaps that should be upticking?

Thank you. I am going to take your advise on the Franco Sarto's and also look for some different items. Thank you so much for your help. I will take any and all constructive criticism to heart.

There are way more sellers that experience brownouts than ones that claim that doesn't exist.

Every time there is a seller update you will notice it.

I've noticed a timing/date thing going on with our sales.
Best way I know how to explain it is like FBmarketplace.
When you list something there, it starts out at the top, pretty easy to find.  Gets lots of views.
As time goes on, the views drop, the interest/messages drop.
The logical reasoning is that there's a set number of interested shoppers, and most all of them see your listing in the 1st week or so, then they are gone.  With just a few others showing up later.
But, while that is some of the reason for declining interest....The other reason is that as time goes by, your listing drops down the page because new similar listings are coming in on top.
SO, FBM has this "renew listing" option where you can renew your listing every 7 days.  Once renewed, it's back at the top...it starts it journey again, at the top, and moving down.  Interest picks back up again for a few days.
Our eBay sales do the same.  But it seems to be a 30 day thing.  And a BIG 90 day thing.
My inventory locations are by "date of listing".   This morning I sold four unrelated items, to four different buyers. All four items pulled from the same location.  All four of those items were listed on the same day, about three months ago.
Happens several times a week here.

One reason it is possible is because out of your first 60 items on the first page you have 8-10 pairs of jeans without even putting the word jeans into the title. Go through and fix ALL your titles and that may help. The second reason is Ebay currently has over one MILLION pairs of jeans listed.

I no nothing about the sites you mention, strictly an ebay girl. But if I might mention a fantastic YouTube seller of clothing that I think does a fabulous job of inventories,  brands and selling. Lavender clothesline is her channel and you may pickup some great tips.

     Best to you.

Can you please screenshot your traffic tab/impressions & views over the past 6 months for us to see? I sell clothing and have no issues with views or sales. I will point out that the items you are selling have horrible horrible sell thru rates and will take a long time to move even at the prices you have them at. If your going to sell clothing then you NEED to make sure you are selling brands that have fast sell thru rates at good prices unless you are willing to wait a long time for things to sell. Has nothing to do with eBay and everything to do with what you are selling. For example the perry ellis pants have over 7k listed and under 2k sold in the past 90 days which means that it will take about a year for those to move even at the price you have them at versus if you listed a pair of under armour match play golf pants that have over a 100% sell thru rate would take less than a month to sell and most likely even faster. 690 listed and 902 sold. Massive difference. Volume of solds can also make a difference as well. For example Diesel jeans have 35k+ listed but 13k+ sold over the past 90 days. Sell thru rate isn't that good BUT the volume is their and I can tell you from experience that Diesel jeans sell very quickly. Pay attention to what your selling. eBay isn't "allowing anyone to see them", it's the stuff your selling that nobody wants and/or has very very bad STR's.

By your pictures I can tll you are a very organized, neat and hard working person.

I just believe that all those talents are going to waste with the inventory you have.

I believe you have the skillset to take your ideas and shop to the next level, a business loan would go a long way in putting all those skills to actually generate revenue.  I would say you would need around $ 5,000 as a good starting point.

Believe in your self and take some risks, thrift store inventory is good for a few bucks here and there but it will not pay the bills.

You sold a pair of True Religion jeans two days ago so it hasn’t been a complete ban.
