Damaged package ... or is the item damaged?

If the item is damaged, have the buyer request a return though ebay.

Accept the return.

Pay for return shipping.

When you get the item back, refund the buyer.

It is up to YOU to file a claim with the carrier.

Have the buyer hang on to the item and package so it can be inspected.

Selling breakable items is a big risk unfortunately and it goes with the territory.

Buyer can show photos...which if there is damage from packing that is a refund and / or return item for a refund in an open claim...but who would want broken items returned?
