How do you show on your fixed price listing that you have changed or lowered your original price?

How do you show on your fixed price listing that you have changed or lowered your original price? I see that on several fixed price listings of others but have not discovered how to reflect that in my own lisings. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Marketing tab > Promotions > Create a promotion (blue bubble on upper right) > Sale event + markdown

Otherwise know as the Markdown Manager....available if you have a store.
