How do you explain this?

Two different sellers.

Two different usernames.

Two different items.

Two different purchases.

Two different parts of the country.

Left me the EXACT same feedback within minutes of each other.

How do you explain that?

One copied the other?

eBay has an option for automated feedback, and it has about 5 pre-loaded comments.  Sellers can change those and customize them, but most sellers who use it are doing so for the sake of efficiency so they leave the default comments.  You have probably just run into two sellers who are using the canned automatic feedback.

You also got the same "Quick response..." comment from 3 other sellers in your most recent 25 feedback received as a buyer,  including from ebayshippingsupplies.

I use the same type of feedback for buyers, since, after all, we can not leave a negative.

"Quick response and fast payment. Perfect! THANKS!!" It is auto saved on my account so when I leave feedback, it comes out. There is nothing odd out of it, and says nothing personal. As a buyer, what exactly you are doing, looking, buying and paying, simple straight forward.

How do you explain this?

Greetings...

If you look down 11 more of your feedbacks on page 1, you'll find a third one exactly the same as the other two you mentioned. Then on page 3 of your feedbacks, you'll find a fourth one. They're all from sellers, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it as a choice on the seller's list of recommended feedbacks to buyers.  I don't think it's a simple cut-and-paste - most likely a canned feedback sellers use from the suggested eBay list. I can't be sure, because my given feedbacks to buyers are current and I cannot see the list.

Really glad to see you "up and alert"!  Keep the faith, and don't do too much by trying to finish your recovery too soon!

Cheers, Duffy

It is indeed. There is a reference to this package of pre-written feedback messages in the Help pages about Automatic feedback settings here:

This feature comes with a number of default positive feedback comments that the system uses randomly when leaving the automated feedback.

To edit the default comments, or add your own, select Edit stored comments. Once you make your changes, make sure to select Save.

I notice that if you add any stored feedback comments of your own, per the instructions on that page, all the default feedback messages by eBay apparently go away. (I may be wrong on that.) You can store up to 10 messages.
