Yes some people have probably had a bad experience. But I wonder if their own attitude turned off the helper. Being belligerent or demanding will get you nothing.
You are walking sown the street and someone approaches you and asks politely Do you know where Main Street is. You are probably going to help them. But if that same individually confronted you belligerently, hand on your chest and demanded Where the F is Main Street how likely are you to want to help them.
There are complaints on these boards about "foreigners" answering the phone. The California office is not open 24/7. At some point in the day the operations shift westward to countries in a day time mode. If you do not like talking to "foreigners" then call in the morning. Not the late afternoon or evening. Problem solved.
If you do not like the answer you get it does not mean the help was inaccurate. It only means you wanted something that was not available. Your expectations were at fault, not the accuracy of the help.
