How do I stop getting so many emails from Ebay?

The only emails I want is if I sell something or won something or emails to let me know there are 10% Ebay bucks and that type thing.

I don't need Ebay to suggest things I might like or to tell me to watch these deals, etc. My inbox is getting flooded with Ebay emails that I'm not interested in. How do I stop these without stopping the important Ebay emails?

Is there a setting somewhere?

Go to your site preferences found under the account tab.

Yes, in your account settings, communication preferences. Expand them all and turn off the ones you don't want.

Thanks everyone for the help but which do I turn off without turning off getting promos? Any help would be appreciated. When I look at them they all look important but I don't need Ebay sending me "These deals look Hot" and suggesting I look at these items and junk like that.

When you get to communications preferences click the tab that says show all.  then go down through each one and make a decision.  They all have labels that are easy to understand.

If I click on an item, I keep getting updates of that same item even if I never asked for updates.

My main (25+ years) email address is not associated with ebay.  Correction:  It is linked to an id I haven't used for years so I don't get the junk mail with my "normal" email.

Every few days I clean out the email address linked to my main selling account; I just hit delete for the entire blob of emails.
