How do I run a sales report for a sales category in my store for one year of sales?

I started a new sales category in my store about a year ago and I want to see how successful this category is so I need to run a sales report for that store category to see how many sales dollars was in that category.  Can anyone help me out with instructions for this report?

Yes, you can see your last year store category sales from "Performance" tab at your seller hub.

then go to "Sales", then choose "Last year", "watch the attached photo", after that press "Generate Report" button.

Finally, scroll down "Download", choose Listings sales report with Store Category" watch the attached photo below.

You will download .csv file that contains all information about your store category sales.

This is not the solution. The csv data in column 1 is not separated / grouped. One must do this themselves, sort the column data then add a sum function for all Sales values or add an IF function to a new cell. 

Your reply is good but not great as the last leg is missing and so not the solution for the problem presented.
