Long story short: Customer wanted a refund for a broken item, so I suggested to keep it and offered a partial refund, which they accepted. Ebay failed to issue the refund (probably because of insufficient funds in my paypal account). So, I contacted the buyer to let them know it would be a few days to transfer money from my bank to issue the refund. I issued the refund manually through paypal and then uploaded a picture of the receipt of the refund to the dispute page and contacted the buyer to confirm that it went through and they said "yes", but the dispute hasn't resolved even though I issued the refund. How do I contact ebay to resolve the dispute?

Best course of action is just to let it time out, this can take about 30 days from the time the claim was opened.
If you are happy and the buyer is happy then just let it sit and it will go away on it's own. You can ask the buyer to close it but I wouldn't stir the pot.

Every PayPal transaction has a unique transaction ID number that takes precedence over any picture of a receipt. Find that transaction number to help you.

I have the transaction ID. Where or who would I send it, too?
