How do I keep an item from resisting after buyer doesn't pay?

Hi, I had buyer bid up over several day period and then stated they couldn't afford to pay because they hadn't been paid for other item.  I want to take a step back for a moment if my second chance offer doesn't pan out.  How do I set so my listings don't automatically relist?  I looked this up and the only info I could find must be old as it does not offer this option when I'm setting up my listings....

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I don't do auctions, but i'm pretty sure if your auction ends and the high bidder does not pay, the auction will NOT re-list.

     Check your seller settings under selling preferences. Edit the Preferences for items awaiting payment and make sure the relist button is not activated.

This is the answer if you're letting it cancel automatically.

If you're cancelling manually, there's a slider button to unselect to have it relist or not.
