How do I go back to the classic listing tool? The new selling page is annoying.

I absolutely hate this new listing tool (on desktop, don't list on mobile). I could go on and on about why, but what's really important here is how the heck do I disable it? Last time they tried forcing the new selling page on me, I could just opt out of it and keep using what I'm familiar with. None of the new tools this new listing page provides are relevant to what I sell, all it is doing is slowing down a specific listing process I have built up over the last 2 years. I don't need the stupid video feature for anime figures!

I can't find the button or setting to go back. Please tell me it's possible to go back to the "classic" listing page, otherwise I'm going to go crazy.

We will all be migrating to the new tool.  If you don't see a link on the upper right side of the form to get back to the old form, you are locked into the new form.

If you can go back to the classic form, I would suggest doing so because eBay tends to roll out improvements over time on any new form, and you may get opted in when it's better.  For instance, they just improved the shipping portion.

If you can't get back to the classic form, may as well get used to it.  Kicking about it just makes it harder.

This is incredibly stupid, as the new tool as a few issues which really slow down my listing process. Namely the latest issue I just ran into, where the area to add/edit my description IS LITERALLY STRAIGHT UP MISSING. Literally just not there. It was there the last item I listed, clicked sell similar, now it's gone. Gone from that listing, gone from editing old listings, gone from making a completely fresh listing. The descriptions still show up in live listings and listing previews, but it's nowhere to be found in my actual editing area so I can't change or modify it whatsoever.

I hate eBay, whatever team that's been working on making the new tool obviously aren't actual eBay sellers themselves.

@kuronekocollectables  When you reach the description area, hit either 'custom template' on the left, or 'show all options' on the right.  Your template description (or previous description if doing sell similar or relist) will come up (see below).

You can try this,

https://www.ebay.com/mys/overview

The links to various selling pages are on the left side under "Selling". I open each page (Sold, Active, Scheduled, etc.) in a new tab and just navigate between tabs. Works for me. Try it. You might like it.

BTW, I haven't used an eBay listing page in years. I just bring up a closed or current listing and use "Sell similar", editing the item to match the parameters of the new listing. No fiddling with constantly-changing eBay listing pages. The listing also gets a new item number and the "New listing" tag when posted. HTH.

No, you don't understand. The description section was completely missing, there were no fields to edit. What ended up fixing it and making it come back was restarting Chrome, so it was a glitch and not user error.

Can't believe they're forcing this out when it's still so poorly optimized. Every time I edit my title, I have to wait 5 seconds for the details to load before I can edit them. May not be a big deal for most, but for me I'm pulling information for the item I'm listing from another page, and copy and pasting in things like brand, series, character name, etc. Normally I paste the info in the title, move down to the details and paste it, then move down to my description and paste it (if you look at what I list you'll probably understand why this is).

I'm having to work backwards from how I normally order the info placing now, so I can avoid the 5 second loading time after editing the title. It's very hard to break a year-old ordering habit, and it's ridiculous this load even takes place when the old listing tool did the same thing without a load having to take place.

@kuronekocollectablesYes - the section is missing - hit one of those two links and that section loads - what I illustrated is the description template that I use.  I'm not saying it's very smart coding, but that's how it works right now.

ETA: Restarting Chrome probably just did a re-write, same thing the links do.  (If restarting Chrome itself had fixed it, then it's a browser problem).
