I have so many scammers texting me and wasting my time. I hate responding to them and just a waste of time. How do I get rid of them

Do not respond, add to block bidder list, report user ID to Ebay.

Only scammers/hacked accounts will text you and if you respond to them they will try even harder to talk to you. Ignore them.

Where are they getting your phone number to text you?

Sellers are not obligated to provide buyers with a phone number so If you do not freely give out your phone number, they cannot text you...

You cannot "get rid of" scammers. Wherever money is changing hands, scammers will follow, trying to take advantage of the trust of others to benefit themselves.
So long as eBay allows folks to sign up for an account and send messages, scammers will send out messages seeking to entice sellers into off-eBay transactions which are often the start of some sort of scam.
eBay will likely catch up with the accounts used for sending such messages and close them, but the scammers will simply create new accounts or hijack old ones to continue sending such messages.
Sellers must be on guard against any user that wants the seller to violate eBay policy -- by texting or providing an email address, or shipping to a location other than the one specified at checkout, or adding a gift card to a transaction -- and sellers should ignore such requests.

Don't give out your phone number and block the one's who have your number now.

Unfortunately scammers will target new sellers in the hope that you aren't familiar with eBay policies or common scams so they can rip you off with fake PayPal payments, try and get you to purchase gift cards for them with offers to pay more than asking price, and myriad of other schemes. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to stop messages, but I'm curious how you are getting the Texts since your phone number isn't available on the listing?

I hate responding to them
Don't.

How on earth is it that so many people have your phone number to be able to text you. Much more to this story.

How can they be texting you unless you gave out your phone number???
I do not think that you were supposed to do that in the first place???

I have so many scammers texting me
Then don't give out your phone number.
I hate responding to them
Then don't respond to them.

Are you referring to scammers thru eBay, or just scammers in general? I think a lot of us get scam calls.

Couple of things you can try...
1. Remove Best Offer from your listings.
2. List Fixed Price - Immediate Payment Required.

I'm assuming you mean a message through eBay? Delete the message. That's how you get rid of them.
Get a few feedback under your belt and they'll leave you alone.
When I started selling on a social media site I had problems with spammers until I had sold about 20 or so items - then they disappeared.
