Buyer opened a not received case (no other contact with me). Tracking shows it was delivered two days before she opened the case. I added tracking to the case (already was on the sold page and showed delivered before she opened the case). Buyer has not responded and the case is STILL OPEN. I can't call customer service (not open due to coronavirus) and clicking on have ebay step in and help gets me to the resolution page. There is no way to have them step in and the case isn't closed. I have the option to refund (DELIVERED! so not happening), add tracking (which was already added when I shipped and AGAIN when she opened the case) or message buyer.
HOW do I get the case closed? Tracking clearly shows it's delivered!

In February, I had a buyer open an INR on a package that had delivered several days earlier. My tracking was already uploaded, but I uploaded it again in the case notes. I also went on to the USPS website and opened a case to verify delivery down to the gps 'ping'. A postal employee phoned me six hours later and followed with an email (which I could load into the case notes)… the package was, indeed, delivered to the buyer's exact address.
I could see that the buyer was a regular buyer. When I loaded my notes into the case, I added my recommendation that they close the case so as not to harm their buying ability by misuse of the MBG. The buyer closed the case.
Good luck!

If the item was delivered over 30 days ago, eBay cannot step in, the buyer won't get a refund this way, and the case will automatically close. Otherwise, if step in simply doesn't work, contact eBay on social media, in lieu of the previous solution via a phone call.
