Several weeks ago, maybe a month, I sold contact lenses. Buyer paid, I shipped, and he left great feedback. Now over a month later, I get this notice from Ebay:
After reviewing your account, we've had to take the following action:
- Some or all of your listings may have been removed. A list of any removed items will be listed further down in this email.
- We have credited all associated fees except for the final value fee for your listing(s).
They go on to explain that contact lenses are regulated by the FDA - OK, got it. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, how can they remove a listing that is no longer listed?? This was an old sale from over a month ago...
Thx!

Sold listings remain visible on the site for a couple months after they end.
There are cases when eBay removes ended listings either because eBay no longer wants people to be able to find them and assume it is okay to list them, or because there are legal incentives for them to do so (like a copyright violation).
