How can I filter my listings by shipping method to check weights on 1st class

It is not an option to filter on seller hub and I am told my first class items are coming up expensive so I want to check the weight I have entered.

How can I filter my listings by shipping method to check weights on 1st class

The 'Harley Davidson Medium Mens Unisex Tshirt gray' is listed as Priority Mail at $9.00 dollars. That should ship First Class at 12 ounces for between $4.39 to $4.98 depending on the zone.

A necktie in a 6x4x2 cardboard box would be 4 ounces or less. I just weighed a tie and box. That should ship between $3.37 to $3.86 depending on the Zone compared with your $5.10 dollars.

I am located in your postal zone and other buyers further away would see even higher pricing than I do.

Sixteen ounces (maximum for First Class) is between $5.57 and $6.11 dollars.

A Padded Flat Rate Envelope, with a 70LB weight limit, costs $8.20 dollars.

I can't offer a solution to your filter question, because I rarely look at Active and Ended listings or the other distractions in the Seller Hub. Using the T-Shirt example above, it seems like you didn't put actual weights into the listings anyway. Thus, the sort won't help you.

I would not rework all 1,038 listings. I would be extra meticulous about making the shipping the exact weight in the future. That would eventually remedy the issue.

How can I filter my listings by shipping method to check weights on 1st class

As onlinecentral said you can not do a search by mailing type.

But all hope is not lost.

You have to know at a gut level that hats, ties, t-shirts, and many other items you have for sale are under 1 pound.

SO

Go to your seller hub

Click the down arrow on “categories” and select “ebay categories” then select “clothing, shoes & accessories” then click search.

That will bring pages, 200 per page, of items in that category. Click the button at the top of the column. One thing you want to do is give a quick scan to the list of items and remove from the edit any items that you think might be over 1 pound. Shoes? Then each page in succession.

You can then bulk edit all of the remaining items on that page to change them from Priority Mail to First Class Mail.

You will still have some lingering problems if you never entered size and weight in the first place. But, as a strop gap, list them all as 12 ounces. That, at least, will get you a more reasonable shipping price than the $9.00 Priority Mail you are showing. Some will still be off by a dollar or so  depending on the actual weight but over 1000 listings it should more or less average out.

Repeat as necessary for any items in any other categories.

How can I filter my listings by shipping method to check weights on 1st class

I made a shipping rule that just charges $4.59 shipping with no charge for extra items and I attach that rule to anything that would be shipping as a first class package. You might want to adjust that number slightly. The extra money from the $4.59 more than covers the 1 customer in 200 who actually orders multiple items and causes it to go over 1 pound. I think the last time that happened was last Christmas with a few people who ordered like 30+ Christmas ornaments at the same time, more than worth me eating the cost to upgrade to priority, I wish I had that problem every day.

The listings that show $9.00 Priority Mail shipping have been set up with flat rate shipping, not calculated shipping.

Sorry but your shipping charges are too high. Personally, I would not purchase from you because of this, but that's just me. Best of luck to you....

But the point is that if it is under 1 pound (which was the initial subject of the OP) it should NOT be set as Flat Rate but SHOULD be re-set as calculated..

Yeah, your shipping is way too high.   If I were you, I would be sure to use Calculated Shipping & then make sure you have correct weights in the field or at least CLOSE to the correct weight.   Most of your stuff should be able to go FC, which tops out around $6.  If you have a handling charge, that could be causing your rates to increase, so double check that your handling charge, if any, is reasonable.   Also, don't use any Priority or Flat Rate boxes unless nothing else will do b/c FRB's are usually more expensive than the same price for regular Priority.  The exception to that is the Flat Rate Bubble Envelope, which can come in really handy for clothing sellers & costs $8.20 I believe.

If it were me, I would go in & fix 10 each day.   That should let you get to all of them in under 2 weeks.

Thank you for the help. I’m not from the US and when I started I listed a lot historically at 15oz to cover myself and others at flat rate padded. I will need to edit in batches.
