How do I cancel an active auction item? I have an item that has 4 more days with no watchers. i was able to sell this item directly without ebay. Thanks for your help.

If you end the auction and Ebay thinks you ended it to sell it off of Ebay, you might get hit with the fee's.

To delete scheduled listings, go here,

Tick the boxes on the items you want to delete, then click on the "Action" drop-down and select "delete".

To delete unsold (ended) listings, go here,

I think you can end the auction early only when there is more than 12 (or was it 24) hours remaining.

Before you end the auction make sure you cancel all the bids, otherwise you are obligated to sell it to the highest bidder.

If you were able to sell this item directly without eBay, it won't be good for you if eBay decides you did an end run around them and completed the transaction OFF eBay.
