How can I disable the irritating "Add recommended item specifics" to listings?

This has happened with every recent listing: My listing is fine. I don't need or want to add more information. Yet each listing is sorted into a category called "Add recommended item specifics." No matter how much I add, I cannot get eBay to re-sort it into my normal listings, so I have divided sections instead of one fluid listing, and each of the separate sections is asking me to add more, unnecessary details.

Bug, or feature? If the latter, any idea how I can get robo-eBay to stop demanding more details I don't care to add?

Thanks!

Didn't we all just get an email saying starting Feb 22, it will be required?  I did.

Sometime I don't know why I or others, bother to answer these type of threads. In all seriousness, this IS a business no matter if you are doing this in your free time cleaning the closet, or full time to feed your family.

If you are not willing to put in the work, learn, and improve, you may as well hang it up. Some people want someone else to hold their hand about everything, and give them the answers to everything. Like they are incapable of learning this on their own or something.

I look at some of the sellers here like this:

You want to make money like a plumber, you give good customer service, can talk someone's ear off, and are very likeable. But you don't know the first THING about plumbing. You would know the difference between a pipe wrench and a Crescent wrench. Just HOW successful do you THINK you will be as a plumber, if you don't know what you are doing? Will you sit around the table with other Plumbers and complain how you aren't getting any business? Will you complain how the advertising (eBay) you are doing, is screwing you over?

Likewise, there are many sellers, especially on these boards, that don't have a CLUE what they are doing. There is constant complaining about everything under the sun. How many of these complainers are taking responsibility for themselves, and LEARNING how to properly work the platform? How many are trying to find the reason something needs to be done a certain way? How many are trying to ACTUALLY improve themselves AND their business?

Remember, for all of those whining, There are other sellers on this platform that pull down incomes that would astound you. It's WORK, and it takes doing things RIGHT. The successful people aren't here crying how eBay sucks, because they DON'T suck. What sucks is the people that think because they showed up, they deserve to be handed a million dollar a day sales.

Don't like something here? Tough, learn to work with it and power through it, or be a quitter and a whiner. Every one of us are EXACTLY where we deserve to be. Every ONE of us are rewarded for what we put into this. Period.

From now on, I am going to avoid the complainer and whiner threads. If someone has a question I can answer or help them with, then fine, happy to help. But it sure seems this board anymore, is full of negative complainers that are in a tough spot, because THEY put themselves there.  Seems like they are only looking for affirmation from other people who did the same thing to themselves, rather than trying to learn how to be better.

I wish we could just ignore it. But at some point ebay will decide to use it for search placement - if they aren't already.
