How am I supposed to receive my funds if tracking never updates?

I recently used USPS first class international to send a package to Germany and ebay held my funds. As you know, USPS does not update their tracking once it is in Germany, so when using the USPS site the status says "in transit". However if I use Deutsche Post tracking it says delivered. How can I tell ebay to release my funds since the item has already been delivered, but they don't know that because they only see the USPS status?

You will probably have to wait the full 21 days.

You could call eBay and tell them to look at the Deutsche Post tracking page.

FYI - It can frequently take several days for the delivery information to be sent from Deutsche Post back to USPS, if the delivery happened just a few days ago you may find the USPS info will be updated by Monday.

According to this Help page, the funds will be released "Seven days after the estimated delivery date, if you marked the item as shipped in My eBay".
