How Many Sales Are Lost..?

Always too bad when a buyer isn't able to make his purchase.  I've NEVER used the cart, so have never had that happen.  I always just am taken straight to pay on PayPal, and *click*  the item is mine, the purchase is made.

But I do hear occasionally of buyers who aren't able to make the cart work for them.  Of course, millions of buyers don't have trouble with it, so I wonder if it might be a difference in technology and carriers and etc. etc. etc.  There has to be some reason most don't have a problem with the cart but an occasional one will.

Anyway, just to say sorry you weren't able to make the purchase you were hoping for.  But as to the seller missing out on his sale, usually sooner or later that seller DOES sell his item, as there are millions of buyers on site, and any one of them will do, as the saying goes.  Which buyer doesn't matter, as long as there IS a buyer, and there almost always is, although sometimes it's slow.  lol  Smiley Very Happy

Hope you find your item with another seller and the cart will work for you and your tech device at that time.

The cart is problematic and has been for some time.  You might try buying on your computer if you are trying on your phone.

Once I used the cart to buy 2 dolls, it doubled the quantity on each, so I had 4.  Nothing the seller nor I did could fix this; she eventually had to cancel and ask me to buy again.  I did, but did not use the cart.

Next time seller had request invoice.  Items were immediate payment, which seller did not put on her listings, so I could not use the cart to request.  Seller could not remove the IPR, then she sent me an offer on the first message I sent for each item, I accepted, and we fixed it that way.

I don't use the cart, it doesn't like me!Smiley Very HappySmiley Sad

i've used the cart exactly once, because I bought two replacement toy figures from one seller and the shipping was combined in the cart.

However, with the hassle of using the cart, next time I'll just buy them separately and eat the extra shipping. I'm never going thru that again. The only reason people use the cart now is that ebay forced the IPR on most BIN's with shipping charges. It's probably the only reason they made that IPR change - so people would be forced to use the cart.

Plus, it kept telling me I had 3 items in my cart for days(when only 2 were in there from days ago and already paid for).

I never list with IPR.  I think I'm almost the only one left who doesn't use that.  Never seems to cause me a problem though, as all my buyers seem to be the ones who pay immediately for whatever they bought.

This happened to me one time.  It was because I had an incorect address for me listed.  So I would check all the basic information to see if everything is correct.
