Got stuck listing a bottle of Chloe perfume for a friend.
This is not my territory. And it will be a quick sale.
I prefer to use the USPS post office...no eBay shipping label and only going domestic.
I guess it goes ground. Or should I use UPS or FedEx? I would walk it to those locations if needed.
I have no idea of cost. Does anyone out there know the cost and what service to use.
It's 3 oz. Any restrictions not selling this brand?

eBay eliminated the used category from the Health and Beauty fragrances, but there's another category that you can list these (pre-owned fragrances) in. In collectibles, it's called Vanity Perfume & Shaving Collectibles.

I found this for you too:
"When shipping perfume bottles with the USPS, you need to take the time and care to prepare your shipments correctly to ensure they arrive in the hands of your customers in one piece. Perfume bottles are fragile and can be shattered in transit, if not packed carefully.
- Wrap the bottle in several layers of bubble wrap and tape it around the bottle to create a cushion.
- Place the wrapped bottle inside a sturdy, small box with at least 4 inches of space all around the bottle.
- If packing more than 1 bottle in the same box, make sure there is plenty of space in between the bottles and that they don’t touch each other.
- Fill any extra space with packing peanuts, shredded newspaper or air filled shipping pillows. Tape the box shut.
- Once taped shut, shake the box lightly. You should not hear anything moving around inside the box.
- For best results, put the recipient’s name and address inside the box as well. "
No way in the world I am shipping a half ounce perfume bottle in an 10x10x10 box.

There are 190,000+ perfume listings (as of today) in:
- Collectibles : Vanity, Perfume & Shaving Selected category Perfumes
These items are considered "collectibles" and NOT cosmetics.
You are correct, but that isn't what the point of my post you are responding to was about. The poster I was responding to said in part "...Ebay must allow the sale of it." Which as we all know is totally untrue.

Actually this got sold last week for $150.00...LOL.
Was under 'Perfumes-other Perfumes Collections-Collectibles.
It was a little scary...shipped in a box in a box...ground delivery as Hazmat Transport.
The scary part...it was purchased as guest account...holding my breath for 30 days for no problems.
Would I ever sell something for another friend...not in this life...LOL

OK, you worry as much as you feel you need to do. I don't get it, but you have to do what is best for you.
So now you are assuming that buyers using a Guest account are problematic? Why?
