How Do I Put my Store on Vacation Setting?

         Apologies -- I have been loading this board up today -- but I want to put my store on vacation because I don't want any more shipping problems, items not arriving, etc.  

    Not much hope of anything purchased today arriving by Christmas, more buyer ire, no thanks.

Putting store on vacation (just tells buyer that you are gone until specified date) does NOT stop them from making purchases.   Be sure to check box  "block buyers from viewing listings & making purchase".    Otherwise, buyer will purchase item and be **bleep** when it doesn't get delivered.
