Outside of AMZ, nope. Fees are higher there.
Diversifying is a great concept.

The posting rules prohibit us from providing direct reference to other ecommerce sites but you can simply Google it and find hundreds of alternatives. I currently sell a LOT of items on local platforms and forums where I can post the item for less since there are minimal or no fees. The items also are more attractive to buyers since they don't have to pay shipping or worry about damage in transit. They can also look at and examine an item before they take possession.

You could start your own site.

Brick and mortar has worked for us over the years.

I'm not going to dare recommend any other platforms better than ebay.
The last time I spoke poorly of ebay they throttled my sales.

Ebay is the best!

If you shop around, you will find that through a variety of different fees and charges, most sites will end up being about the same cost.

Raise the price on your Buy it Now items by 15-20%. Then, when a customer buys them, the buyer pays the eBay fee.

Yes, fees are high, but anyone that is going to sell something for you is going to charge you. Think of auction houses, estate sales, etc. Also, I keep hearing about these other sites that are supposed to be such great alternatives to Ebay. However, I have looked at several of them. For example, I like to deal in airline items. I look at some of these sites, and their categories are mixed together, very high priced, etc. While on Ebay, there are thousands of items organized into ticket jackets, buttons, etc. From a buyers standpoint, I would think that Ebay would be the best site to visit. Anyway, just my observation.

Churchill once said something to the effect of "Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all others tried." Perhaps eBay is much the same in online sales.

From my years of experience buyers are not willing to pay 15-20% MORE for the items I list. OP you pretty much just have to take a 15-20% loss unless you want to just sell locally..

I actually have multiple sites that have 3-5% fees, one has 0. Of course none of them are setup to print the shipping labels like eBay but that is not an issue I simply use Pirate Ship which has about the same discounted rate as eBay. I can adjust my prices based on the individual sites fees and still achieve the same ROI but in large my prices are lower on the other sites/venues.
The other venues are also less restrictive than eBay and I can list a LOT of things that I cannot list on eBay. I used to be exclusively eBay but that has been YEARS ago. I now sell less than 20% of my items on eBay.

I seldom buy anything on eBay these days simply because I can almost always find it cheaper on another site or in a B&M store. Commodity items are difficult to purchase on eBay simply because the shipping cost is a killer. I can also get items immediately from a B&M store and don't have to wait on it to ship and arrive. I also don't have to worry about shipping damage or lost packages. Of course I benefit from the fact that almost every major retailer you can think of is within 1-5 miles of my house.
