Say and do nothing until and if he opens up a claim for not as described.
Then unfortunately you will have to hit the return for refund button.

As em said - wait until he opens a return or tell him that you are sorry he's not satisfied with the item - please return for refund and when you receive it in the condition in which it was sent you will provide him with a full refund.
I didn't check your feedback to see if you sell frequently but buyers like this tend to try this with new sellers especially in the elctronics category. It's great that you came to the boards to see what your options are first.
Let us know how it works out!

You prove legitimate ownership by previous purchase receipt (and receipt number) which you may have to get from your giftor.
We sellers use to only have to worry about nutty, non-reading and novice buyers. With eBay new anti-seller policys, now we sellers have to worry about mean, frauduluent buyers.
