Hi guys, I was trying to sell my coach handbag a few weeks ago, the person made a bid and I accepted the bid but she never paid for it and after like a week she messaged me saying she didn’t want the bag anymore, however eBay has still charged me $6... for what? The person didn’t guy it and the item is removed from being sold?

Unless you cancelled the transaction ebay doesn't know the buyer didn't purchase the item, so you will still be charged fees..

You need to cancle the transaction and choose buyer requested to cancel, or file an unpaid item to get your fees back.

Cancellations are faster. The deadbeat can leave feedback.

Unpaid Item Disputes are slower. They take 96 hours to allow the deadbeat buyer to respond. If she doesn't pay up she cannot leave feedback. She also gets a Strike and many sellers, perhaps most, have set their Buyer Requirements to automatically Block bidders with Strikes.

Both get your Final Value Fees back.

You can also add your specific deadbeat to your Blocked Bidder List.

It seems sellers have the most trouble with Auction deadbeats.

You may be more successful with a Fixed Price listing and opting for Immediate Payment Required.

On those, the item remains available for 30 days or until someone actually pays.

You can file an item not paid  then call e bay and ask them to refund your 6 dollars . You can relist the purse . Tulips

No call should be necessary.

The refund of fees is part of the settlement of the Dispute.

Forgot to mention, you can set up your own personal Blocked Bidder List and those people cannot bid with you in future. There is some uncertainty over whether bidders with the same IP address can bid (new IDs for Blocked Bidders).

Don't cancel. Buyers who don't pay need the unpaid strike filed. Cancelling rewards the behavior and implies that it's okay.

If it's the Coach bag you sold on July 18, you still can file a non-payment dispute. Go to the transaction and click on "resolve a problem." Choose that the buyer hasn't paid and open a dispute. If the buyer doesn't pay within 4 days, you can close the dispute, buyer will get a strike and you'll get a credit for the $7.50 (FVF on the price of the bag).
