Hi. I joined Ebay in August of 2018 and shortly thereafter began selling comic books and magazines. I recently I had someone buy a magazine, but I'm unable to find it anywhere. I'm wondering if I sold it earlier but just can't remember doing so. I can only go back a couple of months on sales records and that's what I need to find to solve this mystery Shouldn't a seller be able to access information going all the way back to when they joined, and in my case, that would back to August of 2018. How can I access records of my earlier sales? Thank you.

That information can be found in your PayPal account. If you cannot locate the missing magazine, you will have to cancel the order and choose out of stock, which will result in a defect on your account.

Good luck to you.

In addition to a PayPal record, there would also be an entry for the item's final value fee in the eBay monthly invoice for the month in which you sold the item. Invoices can be accessed for over a year. Go to My eBay > Account tab > Summary, and there's a drop-down menu on the left to choose the month.

Along with all the other great advice you've received, you should be keeping your own business records.  You will need them at tax time.  You should be claiming your income and expenses for selling her on your income tax returns.

It should, but I've had a couple items that's sold and automatically got relisted.

Lucky I noticed them before they sold again and removed them.

Have a great day.
