Help please... The payment was issued from Paypal but the case did not close

Hello everybody!

I decided the refund money to the buyer ( he didnot receve the package)

I have made the payment from Paypal 07.10.2017 219 USD

But case didnot close automatically!

So I asked to help Ebay money back guarantee to close the case.....

They closed it 07.12.2017  but wrote off the money 219 USD from my account for the second time! I returned the money to the buyer 2 times for total 438 USD! What is it?

The customer support wrote the case closed it is all...

Help me please, I dont know how to solve this problem....

You need to call paypal and see if they will reverse the first payment back to you. Tell them that the buyers received the money back twice. Give them the transaction numbers. You may also need to advise the buyer what has happened and you want to get one payment back. Sometimes if buyer is honest they may understand and send one of the payments back to you. So you have to reach out to the buyer and paypal. Did you not send the package tracked? Its advisable for expensive lots like this to send them track. I'd even consider express courier service on expensive lots. Buyer gets it quicker and you are covered. Never refund the buyer yourself first on open cases always let ebay do it when they close the case.

I did not want the buyer to aggravate the dispute

Let us know if paypal or the customer return the first payment. I find normal mail is too slow these days so its better to use express on anything on that kind of amount.

This can happen when eBay can't see the refund you made in PayPal for some reason.

You can call eBay customer service and ask them to review the transaction. Make sure that you have the PayPal transaction ID for the refund to provide. In fact, if you can still add info to the case, then I would add the transaction ID and an explanation of what happened to the case, and then contact eBay customer service.

Hi goods_from_europe I reviewed your paypal screenshot I can only see one debit of $219 so I don't think the money was taken twice. Nothing to worry about as you did not loose the money twice

There isnot  way to resolve this problem......

 I called to Ebay , they said that customer received refund  from Ebay ( they were charged from my account 219 UDS). They said that Paypal transaction didnot complited.

I called to Paypal  they said the transaction has been completed and paymen 219 USD issued

I have screen the comlited transaction

I have not idea what me should doing

I have paid two times for one case....
