Hi There,
I'm truly hoping someone may have some feedback on the following. I've sold an item
through the Global shipping program and am ready to mail the item but need help first.
The ebay system automatically generated its own global tracking number.
I have yet to take this item to the post office for mailing. I do not print out labels at home.
Do I write the global tracking number on the package as well?
How will the system know when the package is in transit as it will have its own 'regular'
tracking number assigned with delivery confirmation.
Does the package, in essence, then have 2 tracking numbers?
I'm concerned how my buyer will be able to track their package and me as well.
Thanks for any feedback and hope you have a nice weekend ahead!
🙂

The way the GSP tracking works, is, you're only responsible for getting it to Pitney Bowes in Erlanger Kentucky, what I normally do is print up my USPS labels through Click N Ship and upload that tracking number to the purchase, and then it will show the Global tracking number provided by eBay's GSP system, but will still track all the same.
Not sure how you do it the way you did, but if the label you were supposed to get had a different tracking number than the one that shows up on the purchase, that's probably the one intended for you to print at the PO in order to ship it to the GSP center.

Thanks for your help!
I think if I do it manually I better take it in to the counter person.
Maybe they can add the ebay global number to the label?
I'm not sure.
I don't have a printer right now and need to get this out.
I will ask the counter person if they can add it to the label somehow...
Thanks again and have a super night!
