Heads up. Check Your tracking report for errors and Tracking Info

Just found another glitch and wanted to guve you guys a heads up. 

This one is in the Tracking uploaded on time and validated of your seller dashboard. 

So I shipped 3 items a few days ago on time using eBays Click and Ship so the tracking was automatically updated on all three. 

Well today 2 days later all three say that tracking was never uploaded AT ALL. 

All three show USPS scanning them the same day processed so all are validated within 24 hours. But still I got a defect on all three. 

eBay said they would remove them but I have to wait several days for the system to maybe catch the error. 

Like I said its a heads up on just another glitch.

Let me guess 19th to 20th.  Us too and lots of other sellers.  I think eBay with fix it and soon I hope.  Have a good day.

I assumed it was a Post Office issue (didn't scan). Which is also a problem that Ebay doesn't realize exists (at least for some of us). My items arrive on time or before, but the Post Office doesn't always get the initial scan like they are supposed to (within 24hours). I really wish Ebay would go by arrival date. Regardless, thanks for the info.

This feature does not update in real time.  eBay seller standards rating are completed and shown to us on the 20th of each month.  The review is for the previous months not the current one.  This gives eBay 20 days to get every thing updated.

Hey, gew64: off topic, but just looked at your great items and on some the pix are not there with a note "seller hasn't updated pix, see description." Thought you should know. Not on all of them, but like on the snoopy house and a coat hanger. Hope this helps. mm

That sounds like eBay is now enforcing the picture policy.  When the listings were renewed eBay removed the pictures that were out of policy.

Actually on another thread it was mentioned that a bunch of good 'til cancelled that renewed between late Thursday (not sure exactly when) and friday, are now without pictures. So my 25 that renewed are pictureless now. From what the others said, Ebay is aware of the issue, but doesn't know when it will be fixed (or what is causing it??). Trinton has been notified as well I believe. Customer Service has told some that pictures will come back, but  who knows..I am not so sure to trust that. Meanwhile, the question is do I retake pictures (very time consuming) or wait it out. I'm not saying I've never had a picture-off policy, but I take great pains to get great pictures because I know that's my big selling point (in my category especially; condition on vintage being so important). The thumbnail in 'myEbay' still shows first pic on the listings, so if I hadn't seen the thread, I would not have known. Thank goodness for the forums.

Thanks for pointing it out. I think it is due to the issue with the good-til-cancelled, but I would much rather it was pointed out regardless, because the forums is the best way to catch these things. I like the way people help each other out here. I'm not new to Ebay, but fairly new to forums. Wish I had come here years ago. When I need Ebay policy translated, I come directly here; it has already saved me a lot of trouble! thanks again!

Hey gew64: I kinda felt stupid after I sent you the note on this thread then found the really long thread about the picture glitch with the eBay Blue saying they were working on it. But the "working on it" I think was yesterday lol and still not fixed. I don't do GTC. Too much work to remember to revise before it goes live again. I did see on that other thread it may also be affecting non-GTC. So am checking my meager listings lol and just listed an item for 30 day fixed. Haven't checked it yet. I love your stuff. Made me hungry lolol.

I just checked my Fixed Price 30 and pix in the Store as thumbnail and on actual listing. So I am good. Hope you get yours fixed.

Please don't feel that way! I really did appreciate the heads-up; if I had not seen the other thread yet, your comment would have sent me looking for an answer. And You were nice in the way you pointed it out. Most of my good-til-cancelled are so I can get Christmas stock up through the year. Otherwise at Christmas-time I can't keep up with anything but packing. So while it is somewhat of a place-holder, I still lose a ton of pictures (I'm one of those that likes to use all 12 most the time..lol).
