Have you used the mobiile app?

Did it change how you look at your buyers?

The description is burried, and the seller id is at the bottom, almost as an afterthought? Is that the future of eBay?

Have you used the mobile app?

It's been three future of eBay for a few years now.

I bet if you could track the # of returns because buyers don't read/can't find the description on mobile, it would be higher than the percentage of returns via pc purchases

Have you used the mobile app?

I have been using ebay on a laptop for 19 years.  Probably could list and buy with my eyes closed by now.

We were away from home, and I wanted to check something on ebay.  My son opened the app up on his phone.  It was like I had never seen an ebay listing before.  For me it was a jumbled mess.

I waited until I got home so I could get back on my laptop and address the issue.

Have you used the mobile app?

I'm still trying to figure out how to get my listings as best they can be for mobile, but it seems to me that it should be eBay's job to get that to work right.

Whenever I list and it wants me to fill in drop down menus, the correct option is almost never there and quite honestly, if I listed a bowl in the title, why do I need to click and go to bowl in the dropdown?

While I'm at it......

there are 11 Waterford Franklin bowls listed. When I go to group them, there are suddenly 4? What happened to the other 7? Including the one I have listed that right now is the lowest priced one on eBay?

Have you used the mobile app?

I wouldn't use the ebay app even if someone gave me a free latest iphone every year, paid for my service for life, and even paid me to use the app.

Have you used the mobile app?

it's extremely bare bones. Pretty much buying on pictures only and there are no seller policies to be found.

No, I don't even have a phone!

But whatever it was, it apparently changed... again... and isn't real good apparently...

Have you used the mobile app?

I have never seen the eBay app (it isn't available for Windows phones), but the mobile view sounds about like what is being described for the app.

(I can't get a mobile view on my phone either - only a full desktop view - eBay has decided that my phone + Opera Mini browser is a not supported mobile device)

I use the Opera Mobile Emulator on the desktop to get different looks at things: https://www.opera.com/developer/mobile-emulator

(You download it, install it, fire it up, pick a device from the menu to emulate, and browse away.)

To force a mobile view of a listing you may need to change the URL from https://www.ebay.com/itm/.... to https://m.ebay.com/itm/.... if eBay initially serves up a full desktop view.

Have you used the mobile app?

whatever it is, and I tend to agree with you, many of our buyers are using it to access us.

I've been trying to figure out how to retool to get the best exposure there and on classic, but quite honestly, I'm leaning towards pulling these few listings and calling it.

Have you used the mobile app?

My eyesight isn't what it used to be. I can't imagine looking at things on an itty bitty screen compared to my 16" monitor. So, no, I've never used the app.

I use the app. Its my tool to managing ebay when I am at the day job. However, I dislike how I cannot peek in on any of my buyers without going on to a desktop. You cannot click on their user name. Instead, when you click on the order you are shown their shipping details. When I have a problem child or two, I want to see what is in their feedback from others and what feedback they like to leave.
