I have a buyer who sent an offer that i accepted. He just sent me a message saying his paypal isnt working on ebay for some reason and if he could send me the payment directly to my paypal. Ive had this issue once with a buyer and contacted ebay and they said theyve never had that issue and accused him of lying. I ended up canceling the transaction. This situation is somewhat different because hes asking to pay, just not through ebay since its not letting him. Is this some sort of scam? Hes in Canada which is also why I ask since if i could send him the invoice on paypal, would i be able to use the international shipping or do i send it directly to him? Sorry for the long question. Thanks !

There isn't anything wrong with their Pay Pal.
They want your Pay Pal email so they can send you a fake email saying you've been paid, hoping you'll ship before you find out you been scammed.

How he or you will get email address to use paypal? I had situation similar and could not obtain buyer email address.
You will be able to use Ebays international shipping and print label as soon as you mark payment received in transaction details on Ebay.

I can't put my finger on 'why', but I don't feel good about it.

My vote is block them. Sounds very fishy, and I don't think paying for an eBay transaction outside of eBay is allowed.

To even step anywhere near that minefield means conducting an off site transaction at the very least, and more than likely the buyer will use a fake payment notice and have you ship the item and you will never see the money, also the item will not be in your possession anymore.
Let me tell you..
Find out what all seller protection entails, read up on it and then...
Do NOT step outside of ebay's seller protection scheme.
Ever, and I don't care if the president asks you to.

Anyone who ask for your paypal address is a scammer.
