Has there been a change to Combined shipping?

So I got the message a buyer was ready to checkout,  so I put together the invoice flat the 3 items for $5 shipping,  just received 3 separate emails confirming 3 individual payments (charging more) instead of the usual invoice payed message?

Sounds like buyer did not wait for your combined invoice and paid separately.  Best you can do now is make a partial refund for the shipping adjustment.   You can still combine to ship in one box from the bulk shipping page.

No, he did thats why he told us ready to checkout,  most combined shipping customers let us know when they start a order and when they are ready to check,  and after looking over the emails I noticed each shows the total amount for the 3 items and takes the $5 shipping and breaks into the 3 prices...

So it looks like he was charged $9 ×3... but the transaction shows the correct amount.. just a something new again..

If the discount was automatically calculated correctly then you must have a combine shipping rule enabled.

No rules, we sent the invoice for the total,  just seems a messy way to document it as the buyer paid $9 three times and the $5 S&H was broke into 3..

Instead of just buyer paid $3 for this item and this one and this one and the S&H was $5 for a total..

Hard keeping up with how ebay makes simple things confusing.  At least it all worked out in the end.

"Hopefully works out " as the end would be next years filing,  going to be rather problematic.
