Hair Bonnets

Has anyone with a regular Ebay account had any luck consistently selling hair bonnets? My items are getting viewed, but I'm not getting any buyers yet.

I would appreciate any insight anyone may have as to how I can encourage more people to purchase them.

Looks like the pics and description might have been copied directly from a Chinese listing. There are thousands of those, this looks like a clone. Loose the "Type: Cap, Color: Black" list and write out a paragraph about the item. Also get some good pics of your own. Good luck~

The Bonnets look to be sold by quite a few Sellers, many even under your pricing.

You are a new seller.  My best advice is to find items to sell that reflect what you know and what you enjoy/are passionate about.

When you sell an item for $6.99, Free shipping - your fees (not including any listing fees, etc) are $1.18 (about 17% in fees alone, more in there is sales tax);

Then you have shipping fee ($3.35 +/-  ?) + item cost, shipping supplies  ~ so your net on these transactions is approx is $2.46 or less before you factor in your item cost.  Factor your time, driving to the PO to mail.....

If you are using these as loss leaders to drive traffic to your listings, that is one thing.  But you would need items that compliment that once you get the Buyer to look, etc.

It is hard to sell low dollar items on e-Bay and make money unless your acquisition costs for the items are pennies...or unless folks buy multiples at one time (game cards, post cards, stamps, coins, etc)

Wish you every success.  I remember starting out on this site.  I don't even remember what we sold initially.  Hope you can find a niche that works for you!
