I had a SKS rifle STOCK listed for sale, just a plastic stock, not a rifle, and Ebay removed it saying it violated community standards. Before listing my stock, i did a search to see if there were othere listed like mine and there was about 30 other listings selling the exact or very similar item. None of them have been removed, only mine. Of course they offer no recourse for an appeal.

First of all once they kick an item off they are watching closely. Do not relist that specific item, you will probably get your account suspended.
You cannot list parts for "assault" rifles. No firearm is more deadly than any other firearm and I am opposed to the term "assault rifle" but its not my world, it's theirs, we must obey their rules. There are a lot of people on ebay, buts its not public. You don't have rights here. There is only the rules.
In the future maybe sell a basic rifle stock and leave out SKS, or AK-47, or AK, or AR or AR-15. You can sell a rifle stock for a rifle that hasn't been deemed an assault rifle. You can sell pistol parts and accessories but not the lower.
DO NOT RELIST that item. Doesn't matter what you call it now, you will get booted if you put it back up. People make a bunch of accounts to sell things they are not supposed to. They eventually get kicked off for it and just move right on to another account. This is why you see 30 of them. Also, look carefully at the other listings. Do you see "SKS" in their titles? Might be why they are still up. A computer is watching, until it finds something, then a person is watching.

Yes. They're there because they haven't been reported. Yours was reported. Probably by another seller who had the same listing removed and doesn't like the idea that you hadn't. Now, you're supposed to run around and report all those 30 other listings.

"What the heck are you talking about??"
Pretty sure they were replying to the Sri Lankan who had posted on your thread, not you.

It could be because eBay's policy enforcement is not always comprehensive, not always immediate, and not always accurate.
Remember, your listing was up for a while - and no doubt some other seller got his taken down before yours, and was wondering why his was removed and yours wasn't.
Also, listings are sometimes taken down because of the way the item was listed, not because of the item itself. For example you may have used a word that is not permitted; or not included information that is required; or offered to ship it somewhere that you are not allowed to; or it may have violated California law; etc.
Lastly, there is a strict policy about which firearms parts are permitted and which are not. Did you read that and follow it?
Unfortunately, without seeing the actual listing (and every apect of it, like category and shipping and item specifics), we can only speculate about what might have been the cause.

Next time instead of looking for other listings violating Ebay policy, it is always best to check the actual policy yourself. It would be like you see people speeding and think it is OK for you to do it.

They are scared of the folding rifle stock. I guess you can fold a shotgun and hide it under your coat, but you can't fold a rifle and live off of the trail.
