Hey everyone! About a year ago I had a virus on my computer and I am not sure if this is in anyway connected but I think my computer was also hacked because I would see my mouse moving by itself... After I removed the virus with my computer guy, I was trying to list something and it said my account was banned. I called eBay and tried to get an explanation why and all they would tell me is that I was a danger to the eBay community and basically hung up on me. I have about 95% positive feedback, shipped products on time and my biggest upset is I never even got a warning about anything I was doing wrong.
I was with eBay for over 15 years. If I was doing anything wrong I think if they would have warned me and said hey listen you cant do whatever it is that you did, I would not continue doing it... Anyways has anyone else come across this issue? If Yes, what did you do about it? Thank you in advance and hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Could it have violations of ebay's presale policy and cancelling sales for the reason "out of stock?" . I see you made a post about that in 2021. That kind of thing has been known to permanently toast accounts.

"I have about 95% positive feedback"
There must have been big problems selling, 95% Feedback is like an F+.
A defective dirty mouse can move unattended, nothing to do with a virus.

At present your feedback is 100% but you have also elected to keep it private so no clue with regards to specifics. Not a lot of detail about why you were banned other than what crazystuff4sale mentioned. You may have to take a look at the activity on your account to try and determine why you were banned. Based on your previous post pre-sale of items is NEVER a good idea.
After you have done some analysis if you feed you were banned for some incorrect reason you can try contacting eBay through the FaceBook connection to see if they will re-instate you.
