HTML codes and external links

First off is it prohibited to add external links from other web sites such as images, audio and video?

I dont just want to put the web address down on the listing, I want the video to show up it selfs (as an image) in the description. Do you know how I can go about this please?

You can post it on YouTube and create an "eBay legal" link using the code generated at this site.....

Intresting to see the part where it says
This tool produces code that will work on eBay beyond eBay's June 2017 Ban on Active Content. (eBay does not accept embed code directly from YouTube or Vimeo, and will also block active content within item descriptions from June 2017 onward.)

Do you know if the same can be done with an audio file such as sound cloud or drop box?
