While it's being fully developed, Seller Ledger is now in beta free trial for all of us to try out. I've been using it as one of the original early volunteer beta testers, and I'm really happy with it. This is good news for those of us who have been relegated to using calculator, pencil, and paper or spreadsheets for our bookkeeping and taxes since GoDaddy threw me and thousands of other eBay sellers under the bus last June. It should also be really good news for those who have been pulling their hair out over the expensive and confusing Quickbooks recommendation we were left with.
The free trial is at https://www.sellerledger.com. It is being developed by Kevin Reeth, who was the original founding CEO of Outright, which became GoDaddy Bookkeeping back in the day. A lot of us old-timers remember Outlook and used it.
Among many features like manual entry and mileage tracking, there's automatic integration and download from eBay every 3 hours, and the layout closely resembles a lot of the simplicity we had with GoDaddy. I'm especially happy with Seller Ledger's Schedule C layout that gets automatically filled in for the majority of us who don't need Quickbooks. It is constantly being developed and improved by Kevin and his staff.
Check it out!
Cheers, Duffy

Update:
Here's a quote from an email last Thursday from Kevin Reeth, the original founding CEO of Outright and now developer of Seller Ledger:
"...Finally, I wanted to say thanks to everyone who has emailed back and forth with us, providing feedback, finding data issues and offering suggestions. Just so you know how helpful it has been, in only 1 month (seriously), we have not only added the initial eBay data imports, but, based on your feedback, we’ve also added:
- Improvements to speed up the imports (and show progress as they happen)
- Import data every 3 hours
- Broken data out into more detail, like Shipping Collected
- Fixed confusing display issues around refunds and discounts
- The ability to click through from totals on the Reports and Taxes tabs to see which transaction make up those numbers
- The ability to manually enter income and expense transactions
- The ability to track mileage..."
If you have any suggestions as you enter the free trial, email Seller Ledger... just be patient waiting for a response...
