Go back to requiring an eBay account. Get rid of Guest Check Out

There are so many customers that have multiple usernames and can't keep straight what account they ordered from. It's frustrating for them and for the seller. I can't look up their order because the username they are messaging me from doesn't have any order with us. And they don't know their order number. Go back to requiring an account to buy on eBay and get rid of guest checkout. I'm getting multiple people a week that can't find their order and want to know where their product is. Threatening to open up charge backs with Paypal or their credit card.  Because they think they are getting scammed. Then they find their order number and I can help them locate their tracking. I talked to a customer the other day that had like 6 different accounts because he keeps using guest checkout and couldn't find which one he had ordered from us on. He called to have eBay merge them into one and eBay said they can't do that. This is even harder for customers to locate their username or order number 30 days or more after their order. Especially if they deleted their emails. Noticing a lot more scams going on with these guest checkouts.

They will not abandon Guest checkout....and yes, it is a mess when the Buyer cannot ascertain their order - we dealt with this over Christmas.  Throw in a language barrier and OH, the extra fun!

Ask yourself, would eBay ever take an action that would result in a loss of sales (and therefore, income)?
Not going to happen.
