Global Shipping Program Buyer tried the strong arm me to give him shipping discounts after he purchased 2 items. He sent me a message at the same time of his purchase and said that I needed to give him a discount or he would open a case against me. Against my better judgement I gave him free shipping on the the smaller item which I would have done anyway but I didn't like his tactic. After he received his items he left me negative feedback on both items saying I ripped him off $27 in shipping fees which was really the global shipping fees. I got exactly what it took to ship the item. He later apologized for the feedback but says he is unable to remove it because I had already asked ebay to remove it. Ebay removed 1 of negative feeds but said I didn't qualify to have the other removed. Wait? What? Before all this happened he sent me a message asking me to throw in free items which I ignored then the next day it was reduce my prices. At what point is this just harassment. I knew I should have canceled the order. I've been selling for 3 years and this is my first negative feedback and I'm **bleep** about it. I thought I was protected from natural and negative feedback if was an issue had to do with the Global shipping program. I clearly did nothing wrong that was the programs fees he was unhappy about. I can't believe the time I have spent trying to get this corrected. Seems like any day I have to deal with Ebay customer service It sure to be a bad day. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Im sorry you got a bad buyer. If this happens again, do not discount anything. Refund as "problem with buyers address" and report the buyer.
Im not 100% sure the reporting does anything but as sellers we have to use what they give us...
I would then add the buyer to the "special list" and call eBay to make sure they see the email with the threats of extortion.
I would keep trying to get the FB removed. A different CS agent or a Supervisor may remove it (as they should)
Both should have been removed especially with the emails the buyer sent.

Did you ever inform the buyer that the Global Shipping Program does not support discounts on multiple purchases?

Just a clarification for you: No one on the Member To Member Support Board is on eBay's payroll.
We are a very large group of experienced buyers and sellers who volunteer here to answer questions and help when we can.
Most of us are very knowledgeable about the way eBay works and have made it our business to keep up with changes and announcements so we can help others who have not done so.
When we explain to someone why something won't work or tell them how and where to get help, we know what we're talking about.
If that makes you believe we're on eBay's payroll, then you are very confused.
