Hello 🙂
I have a question that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I have a pack of three gift cards that I received as a gift that I am not going to use, and was planning to sell them here. I came across something that seemed to suggest you can't list more than one gift card at a time a few weeks ago when I was first looking into it so I was afraid to list them.
Now I just went to find the policy again and I don't see anything that specifically states that, so I dont know if I'm looking at the wrong place or if they reworded the policy but it does still mention something about selling so many at one time but I can't find anything more about that.
What I'm wondering is, are you able to sell more than one at a time? And if not, would my three pack violate that policy even though they are sealed together in a pack? I would appreciate any help anyone might have. Don't want to do something against the rules. Thanks so much.

The gift card policy used to have a limit of only one card per listing, and only one listing at a time. But, the policy has been ch anged and that wording was removed since Mar 30, 2017.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/gift.htmlGift cards can be listed as long as you meet all of the following requirements:
The card's dollar amount is $500 or less.
You have the card in hand at the time you list it, and you must ship within 5 days of the date your item was purchased.
You offer only one gift card per listing.
You have only one gift card listing at a time, even if you have more than one eBay account. At our discretion, we may approve authorized resellers or direct suppliers to list gift cards without these restrictions.

"
You can sell gift cards for retail stores or services (except store or merchandise credit receipts) as long as:
We don't allow the sale of eBay gift cards, or prepaid credit cards (money cards) from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover on eBay. However, collectible gift cards with no redemption value can be listed, as long as sellers specify in the listing that there's no dollar amount on the card."
With that said, I wouldn't list a gift card here. It's too easy to lose both the card and any monies paid for the card. All a buyer has to do is say you sent them an empty card. No proof is needed, and you lose.

Thanks so much for your help. I thought that maybe I was missing something, because that earlier policy is what I recalled seeing before and then when looking at the policy again recently I didn't see anything referring to that. I really appreciate your help!

Thanks so much for your help and advice. I didn't really think about dishonest buyers and didn't realize it was so easy for them to get away with it.

As said above, gift cards are a slam dunk for scammers.
