Getting Late Shipping Dings? May Not Be Your Fault

There is a problem and this is what the Ebay CS described

When you have your package scanned at the PO at dropoff  (and you've purchased postage through Ebay) then Ebay gets an expected delivery date back from the PO

YOU don't get that

That expected delivery date may be sooner than your stated class timeframe of delivery that Ebay tells your customers (the range, say 2-9 days or whatever)

So if the PO delivers after THEIR expected date (even though it is within your date range) then Ebay is piucking this up as a late delivery, and dinging you.

You need to call CS to get it removed if you did send & have it scanned it within your stated handling time

So if the PO then still delivers within your timeframe, but it is after THEIR stated expected delivery date, you are getting dinged. It is not your fault.

This is some kind of information glitch where the information of expected delivery date range that Ebay provides to the buyer is NOT what the PO is putting out from their end

The CS rep noted the problem but I don't know if it will be fixed

If you get an acceptance scan within your stated handling time, then the delivery date is irrelevant.

But some people are still getting shipping dings.
