For me it started just a few minutes ago.

"To help sell my item"

Terrible idea, policy, etc.

What does one do if after 1 month instead a fixed price listing they wanted to use an auction listing for an item?

The same problem here. I was ready to list new items today and relist some but this new policy make me feel discouraged. the automatic relist in auctions and now the Good ti'i cancel only generate fees that the seller will be forced to pay. I make a monthly, I pay fees for every item i sell. Can you imagine to be unchecking 500 hundred items one by one to avoid paying extra fees? Now from today i have to waste time everyday unrelisting the til cancel listing items as well because if I don't do it i have to pay more fees . what is going to happen if you are selling an item for $12 dollar and if you pay for it 5? I loved selling on ebay! but after the latest changes I need think seriously if I going to continue with them.

Me too.

Over 1000 listings converted to GTC.

We have a history of always getting good sales as our listings are coming to an end. No more.

Ebay knows so much better how I should run my small business. Great that they could not give us the option of keeping our listings 3, 5, 7 and 10 days.

If there was any other place to be I would be out of here.  They make it so difficult to be a seller.

I'm agree with you , and the end the seller will be in debt with ebay instead to earn some profits

GTC is only good for those who sell at crazy volumes. Those who buy truck loads or rail car loads of products that were returned or rejected for penny's on the dollar.

What is really sad is that these sellers can receive 15 to 50+ negative and/or neutral feedback, but because they sell at such a high volume, E-bay keeps them. ???

When you go to relist your item, there should be a "format" box where you should be able to change the listing from fixed price to auction. I am old school so I do everything on a computer, so am not sure if it is the same when using a phone to list. I want nothing to do with the stupid new forced GTC, so I will also be doing more auction style due to the disappointment, and may stop selling all together since it's not worth it any more with all of the fees involved, and hoops they expect sellers to jump through 😞

I agree with you. There should be an option for sellers to choose how they want tu sell your stuff because only they know how much the item cost to them. After the monthly payment and fees for sellings the profit decreases considerably but apparently Ebay doesn't care about Small business. Maybe they want to get rid of them.

I hate this!! We should have a choice. I have free listing in my store and I use them up.
If things are renewed with GTC I will be over the limit and charged for each one.
This is ridiculous!!! A way to get more money.
I won't be listing much for Buy now until this changes.

Yes, this is what I am talking about. To hard to keep up and keep this from happening.
They are taking away our right to choose. I don't always want something to relist. I won't be listing much in Buy it now or relisting things. I don't want to go over.

I called Ebay. You CAN NOT uncheck. This is a new rule to use Buy it now.

Just trying to get more money.

I called too and they said fees will be charged for automatic relist in auction and good ti'l cancel adding the monthly payment and selling fees. Frustrating situation

Ha ha this morning I woke up enthusiastic thinking to list a lot of new items on ebay but now im looking for a new platform to do it. Crazy day!
