Most of us come here for help with bad buyers or bad ebay policies, lack of help, etc. Sometimes it can get really depressing and seem like nothing good happens on ebay. After reading the many threads on this board, it sounds like it is populated by many great sellers who give first-class service and advice. I thought it might be fun to post our GREAT transactions to help us cope when things go bad. I hope this will be a place to let our professionalism shine!
I'll go first:
I am a disabled single mom trying to live on social security. In order to keep a roof over our heads and feed my daughter, I have been selling many personal items which have senimental meaning. I have to admit, there are times I have shead a tear when something special sells. Recently, I sold a number of special little girl dresses my mom and grandmother made for me 50+ years ago. I had a buyer who loved the dresses, and bought several at one time. She liked them so much that she came back and purchased several more. She negotiated a good price with the second purchase and was very happy. I always send a private handwritten note with my sales, and thaked her for giving a loving home to my personal treasures (never mentioning my situation). She sent me a wonderful email with pictures of her granddaughters wearing these treasures! She also said that after receiving the dresses and seeing the quality and love put into them by my mom and grandmother, she felt bad about the discount and sent me enough $$ to make up the full price before the discount! What made this extra special was that it came the same day when I got my first neg by a crazy person who called me a liar.
I hope this brightens someone's day, and I would love to hear your stories!

Great thread and has also been on my mind! I have dealt with such wonderful people in the category that I usually sell in (vintage/antique/historic photography). One experience comes to mind - I was recovering from being sick and in my funk accidentally switched mailing labels on two packages...I felt terrible when I realized what happened. Both buyers were very understanding and each willing to go to the post office and exchange with eachother instead of returning to me to speed things up (I sent them $ for postage and gas/inconvenience). Neither left negative feedback, though I would have totally understood if they did. Both followed through quickly with the exchange. I was so appreciative of their understanding and willingness to do a nice thing for me and for eachother!
