Full return request after issuing partial refund?

Buyer opened a return request and I offered them a partial refund thru the return request which they then accepted. Now a few weeks later they want to return the item outright. Does the buyer have any recourse here for a return? The point of the partial was for them to never email me again.

They are also upset because they dont have an option to open another return request

Once the Return request is closed, the buyer has no other recourse on eBay. That's not to say they might open a request with PayPal or a chargeback with their CC...
