Friend has not yet received 1099k.

I have a buddy who flips full time and sold at least 500 items last year as well as about $100k.

Both numbers way beyond the 1099k 200 items and 20k dollars in sales required for a 1099k.

He was on managed payments for all of 2020 as well.

He checked his eBay account today and it said:

"You have not sold enough on eBay".

I know the IRS requires 1099k's to be available by the end of January so he was a bit confused on this and was waiting on it to file taxes.

Maybe your buddy would like to post his circumstances here so he'd be available if any members have specific questions for him.

I don't think I would want a "friend" posting this type of info about me.  I wish I had a product category to sell at the levels you state but alas, I don't. 

Your buddy can take care of him or herself.  Jeez.
