I switched one of our listings to use the Freightquote.com calculator but it's not calculating a cost in the listing. Did something change or should it still show a price for shipping? Even when I add it to the cart, I get a message to contact seller for shipping cost.

eBay integrates with FedEx, USPS, and UPS to provide estimated shipping. The seller is free to use whatever shipper they want, but not all of them calculate automatically. You would need to contact the seller if you want to use a non-integrated freight option.

I am the seller. eBay integrates with Freightquote.com. eBay says "Freightquote.com - Let our freight service provider calculate the shipping cost for you and your buyers automatically." This service used to calculate the shipping cost automatically and show it to the buyer in the listing. It is not currently and I'm not sure if I haven't set something up correctly, or if it is no longer working.
Is anyone using freightquote.com in their listings?

Thank you for correcting me. I'm not perfect and I am only as good as the most recent information.
That being said, the only other thing I can think of is that for calculated shipping to work correctly you must know how many packages you will be shipping, what the dimensions are of each package, what the weight is of each package, and the source zip code.
Do you have all of that information correct and accurate? If you do, sounds like an eBay bug. Perhaps someone that uses it will responded. 🙂

No worries. That's good advice to check the weight, dimensions and zip code. It appears to be correct in the listing. Any other ideas?

Here is the only other idea I have, but you may have already done it.
So you can confirm that the quote on FreightQuote.com is different than the quote on eBay using that carrier right? I would try to do a quick "chat" or "email" support on FreightQuote and see if they know of any issues with their API?
Otherwise I would hope another seller would respond. Perhaps you can make a tag for FreightQuote?
That's a weird one. If eBay supports it should work 😉
