Free listing fees

Not sure if this is the right forum, but figure you will point me in the right direction.  Problem with Ebay policy

Each month a seller gets 50 free initial listing waivers. Which I appreciate.  From time to time they have additional promotional free listing fees.  Which I appreciate, Presently it is 200 thru July 31..  My problem is that ebay uses the promotion free listin fees first.  Presently I have used 111 of my free listings and ZERO of my monthly. No way for seller to designate which ones are used.  So I will probably have 50 monthly waivers left at the end of the month.  If I had two coupons, one would run out on May 30.  The other one on July 31, guess which one I would be using.  Appears that you monthly allotment should be used FIRST, and them you other ones that have a longer good value.

GOOD NEWS!  You just misunderstand the promotion.  You are doing ABSOLUTELY fine!

First anytime there is a promo the system is designed to pull from the promo FIRST and then you allotment of free listings second.  Your monthly free allotment is ONLY good for the month you are in.  That never changes.  So if you don't use up the extra Promotional free number of listings, you aren't out anything as you didn't have 250 listings to even post this month.

Your 200 additional listings between now and July are for EACH month.  So come June 1st [can you believe next week is June!] you will get a whole new batch of 200 free listings to be used in the month of June.  And then again on July 1st you will get another batch of 200 free listings to be used in the month of July.

You are doing just fine.  You just keep on listings.  You have 250 total free listings for May, July and July.

I hope your sales are good and you have a lot of fun selling.  Let us know if you have any other questions.

Free listing fees

Sign up for a store and you can get 50K free listings for now. Well I think that promotion also applies to new stores at least. Also lower FVFs for stores.

I can live with that.  It is Not what the person on ebay chat told me. (or what I understood)

Unfortunately they aren't always right.  Sorry.

But look on the bright side.  You have more listings to work with than you thought as what I described is how it works.
