An unauthorized payment showed up on my credit statement for an Ebay transaction .
It shows that we have made a payment to "Charitable and social service organizations ".
As i googled this , i found out others have experienced the same thing.
Not sure how someone can access our Ebay account and use our card information . Contacted Ebay about this and they have no record of a contribution made through Ebay.
Any thoughts?

If you think there is a fraudulent change on your credit card you can do a credit card chargeback.
Are you the buyer or seller?
Did the "Charitable and social service organizations " show up on the credit card statement or your ebay transaction history on your ebay account?
Sellers can choose to donate a portion of their sale to charity when they list an item. maybe you did that and forgot.

Contact your credit card company and dispute it.

If you did not purchase anything on eBay and your statement shows a charge to eBay then your card has probably been compromised. You need to contact your CC company dispute the charge and ask for a replacement card letting them know you card has been compromised.
I have had to go through this several times. For us old fogies this was a lot more common back in the days of the raised number CC's when they used to do your charge on a paper form that had carbon paper. One of the main reasons I still use PayPal to pay for most things is when it does happen I only have to change my CC information in one place once I have the new card.

The first thing I would do is make sure that none of your listings are contributing to a charity. You can use your bulk editing tool to turn it off. Try doing it in groups of 50 so that they all take. Sometimes doing them all at once doesn't work for some reason. I wouldn't just rely on an agent telling you that you didn't sign up for it. They are unreliable.
Next, change your ebay password. Can't hurt to do that.
Last, definitely dispute the charge with your credit card company.
