Ebay buyer bought a brand newly made PC. Installed the Windows OS 11 Home and he successfully made a password. Then Called me saying the PC kept rebooting over and over again and wouldn't install the OS. When he returned the PC back to me. He did not place the INSTAPACKS I sent with the PC back onto the components and he also kept the WIFI Antenna adapter. When he shipped back the PC without the Insta packs. The 4070Ti Brackets BROKE OFF the motherboard and PC case. Also, the screws on the PCIE slot stripped off as well. Luckily the motherboard and 4070Ti card survived the barbaric shipping. Now, I will never sell on Ebay again. I just wanted to note that Ebay has no such protection for Ebay sellers for these Scammers.
Returns are for legit lemon and defective products. Because, when I turn on my PC that was returned to me and I see your feeble name on the screen with a fully operational OS with your PASSWORD logon screen. Who you think is going to look like a liar? I put a lot of effort and time building my PCs and to be treated like trash. Will not be tolerated.

It happens all the time, you will run in to a scammer here and there. No need to warn eBay sellers, most know.

I bet your listing is going to do a lot of good.

Pretending to sell an "item" that is telling buyers not to purchase on eBay.
I thought I've seen everything.
Somehow, I think there is more to the story of he said she said.

PC's are a problem category especially for new sellers. If you were a Top Rated Seller who accepts returns or a seller with Free Returns, you could have deducted up to 50% of the refund due to the damage to the unit.
The scammers avoid those types of accounts.
Anyways, for what you are selling, finding local buyers who pay cash might be the way to go. You are not going to find an online venue with a payment processor that is going to offer any better protection.
Dealing with returns and credit card chargebacks are part of the game.

I was/am noob. I trusted the buyer and fully refunded the buyer before he shipped it back to me. I didn't know that giving a full refund the buyer could have kept the item. I was LUCKY enough to get the PC back. Which I am happy about. However, giving out a fair warning to noobies out there like me to watch themselves selling on ebay. I learned the hard way. It could've been worse. However, I am doing this as PSA for the community. People can think what they will of me. I know what I make and sell. I stand behind my product. They're simple builds nothing too fancy and easy to maintenance.
I tried to be a fair seller as much as I could. I offer lots of free gifts with my builds. Ebay isn't for me.
